Wife started the House of Antiques in 1971 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. In
1988 we started Antiques Etc. above the Italian Underground Restaurant
in Glenwood Springs. In 1991 we started our second Antiques Etc. store here in
New Castle, CO. and in 1994 we moved the Glenwood Store into the Antique Depot
in Glenwood, then in 2001 we moved all to our New Castle Store. In 2003 we
rented space with Little Bear Antiques and remained with them until they closed
their Carbondale store April 2011.
We joined the World Wide Web "www" and eBay in 1998 as
www.antiquesetc.net and aetc. on eBay
(don't forget the dot after the "c").
New Castle, CO. is located at the Gateway to the Western Colorado Rocky Mountains along the Colorado River and I-70 off Exit 10, 170 miles West of Denver, 75 miles East of
Grand Junction and about an hour drive to well renown Ski Resorts "Vail" or "Aspen". Fishing, Big Game Hunting, Jeeping
and Skiing are just a few things to do in our area.
We sold our building and
closed our store in March 2011. We still have Antiques
Etc. but will only have items for sales on eBay and our
website near the end of this summer 2011. Hope to hear
